We offer Safety Checks of all 240V and 415V installations.

This will come in the form of a certificate (Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Report (DEICR) )from the NICEIC website. It is recommended the maximum interval is 10 years OR change of occupancy for a dwelling.

For every other type of building we offer an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report)

For Offices/ Shops/ Residential Accommodation/ Hospitals/ Pubs/ Churches/ Village Halls the interval is 5 Years max.

For Industrial premises/ Cinemas/ Agricultural/ Leisure Parks/ Places of Public Entertainment 3 Years Max.

For Caravan Parks/ Marinas/ Swimming Pools/ Fire Alarms/ Launderettes/ Petrol Stations 1 Year Max.

For Construction Sites 3 Months Max

Inspection

Dead and Live Testing

So Dead testing is de-engerised testing normally applicable to new installations with new cable and equipment. Live testing is testing when the circuit is live there are enhanced dangers present, this is where safety equipment, experience, concentration and training all come into play

We are trained to City and Guilds 2391 widely regarded as the most difficult of all the testing training courses plus 25 years experience of fault diagnosis. There is no need to call anyone else!
